Albert Bonnefous

Originally from the heart of France (Burgundy), Albert spent most of his life working in Visual Effects for Film as an Art Director, Lead Artist and Supervisor in Europe. More recently he joined Weta Digital in Wellington, New Zealand as a Lighting Technical Director and worked on prestigious productions like Avatar and Tintin.

20 years of working in the Visual Effects industry has brought Albert an extensive knowledge of light and environment. He received more than 20 awards from all around the world, including the famed 'Best Illustration of the year' for Life Magazine in 1998 (with photographer Seb Janiak)

Self taught artist, Albert has now returned to his creative core by working on a more traditional art form of oil paint. Classical and Timeless
